St Patrick's FC Annual General Meeting 2016
Dear St Patricks FC Community
Last night (20th October) the clubs AGM was held which had a significant turn out with a close to 100 members voting. It was great to see so many members taking an interest in the club.
The results of the AGM for season 2017 as voted by the members were
President: Paul Cheadle
Vice President: Rob Bunin (unopposed)
Treasurer: Kelly Edmondstone
Secretary: Megan Cheadle
Registrar: Justine Dibley (unopposed)
The non executive positions will be discussed at the next General Meeting - TBC. If any member of the club has an interest in being more involved in the club here is an opportunity to contribute.
It was great that so many members were present last night, however if you have any suggestions or ideas for the club in moving forward then I encourage you to be present and raise those ideas at the monthly meetings that held throughout the season.
Again thanks to everyone that took the time to attend the AGM last night and we look forward to a successful 2017

St Patrick's FC Annual General Meeting 2015
With the season nearing its conclusion, I thought that the time is now appropriate to inform you that I will be stepping down as the President and from the St Patricks FC committee at the clubs AGM in October. In addition two other Executives (Secretary - Terry Minutillo and Treasurer - Brian Lamarre) will also be relinquishing their positions on the Executive.
We have served on the executive for the last 6 years and we have held other committee positions as well as coached and managed team. We now feel that it is time to focus more on our chosen professions and families.
This is a wonderful club which I started playing for in 1972, I have had some years of absences playing for other clubs but returned to what I believe to be the best club in the Sutherland Shire because of the people in it.
I have enjoyed watching the club grow over the last three years as President with registration numbers increase from 464 (2013), 492 (2014) to 538 (2015). The last 12 months have been exciting with the introduction of our new strip and the preparation for the Anniversary Ball in September.
As a player I didn't appreciate the effort that went into running a voluntary Sports Club, but as I got older and all 4 of my kids played for the club I felt I needed to give back. I am hoping that there are many members out there in a similar position to where I was many years ago who now want to give back and try and make a difference to our club.
In order for the club to remain an affiliated club with the Sutherland Shire Football Association we need to have an Executive Committee. If this does not happen the club will fail to exist and the clubhouse and Forest Rd will be allocated to another club. I am sure no one wants to see this happen to the St Patrick's FC.
I appreciate that spare time in most people's busy lives these days is scarce and that many would be reluctant to commit it to a football club, but I can honestly say I have got a great deal of satisfaction in being an integral part of this club. I have developed and gained valuable friendships as well as learned new skills in areas I was unfamiliar with. I have gained a greater respect for the work that goes into the running of the largest football association in NSW with nearly 19,000 players making up 1561 teams each weekend.
I am pleading with members of the club to consider nominating themselves for a position on the committee with a plan for some to aspire to be the President. I am not leaving the club and will continue to play and support teams and I would be happy to field any questions about what is involved and expected of committee members.
Finally I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Terry and Brian for their tremendous commitment and time they have invested in St Patricks FC. I would also like to thank the current committee members and those that I have served with previously. Everyone of you makes a difference and has contributed positively to making the club what it is today as well as always looking for ways to make the club better for the future.
I hope to receive many nominations (click here for nomination form) for positions and see a crowded Forest Rd Clubhouse for the St Patricks FC AGM to be held on Monday 12th October 2015 at 7:30pm.
